It is possible, but unlikely, to purchase a balcony spot once you arrive in Pamplona or on the day of the Running of the Bulls® (encierro). However, while often a less expensive option, most of these balconies are only available for weekdays other than the 7th or 8th and are considered inferior in location as they are higher up or on the less interesting areas of the Bull Run Route. It is our recommendation that this option is only pursued if you: 1) know where you are going, 2) speak at least a little Spanish, and 3) clearly understand that there may not be a space available, causing you to miss the Running of the Bulls® (encierro) entirely.
