Spain’s high-speed train network is one of the easiest and fastest ways to get to the San Fermin Festival in Pamplona. Whether you’re traveling from Madrid or Barcelona, you’ll find the rail system to be modern and cost-effective. We encourage visitors to purchase tickets in advance of the festivities at Renfe, Spain’s national rail website.
San Fermin train schedules are subject to change, but the following timetables are the most current available. Note that Renfe may provide additional trains to and from Pamplona during the festival to accommodate increased traffic. All trains to the city will arrive at the Pamplona train station, located in the neighborhood of San Jorge.

If taking the train to San Fermin, try and book the high-speed Arco and Alvia models. The travel time from Madrid to Pamplona can be as little as 3 hours and 9 minutes. First-class one-way tickets from Madrid will cost around 60 Euros, while economy seats cost 47 Euros.
