Running of the Bulls 2017 Dates

Bulls-and-runners-in-pamplonaThe Running of the Bulls 2017 dates are July 7 – 14, 2017.  Here is a breakdown of the day of the week and the main events on each day:

Wednesday, July 5, 2017: Arrival day for those who want to see the opening ceremony

Thursday, July 6, 2017: Opening ceremony at Noon on Plaza Consistorial (be on a balcony by 10:00 a.m. if you want to see it), Rejones bullfight with matador on horseback at 6:30 p.m.

Friday, July 7, 2017: First bull run at 8:00 a.m. (be on a balcony by 7am if you want to see it), the Procession of San Fermin at 10:00 a.m., first traditional bullfight at 6:30 p.m.

Saturday, July 8, 2017: Daily bull runs and bullfights continue. Busy day, due to other Europeans coming in for the weekend.

Sunday, July 9, 2017: Daily bull run and bullfights continue. Busy day, due to other Europeans coming in for the weekend.

Monday, July 10, 2017: Beginning of mid-fiesta period with less crowding during the bull run.

Tuesday, July 11, 2017:  Bull run and bullfights continue.

Wednesday, July 12, 2017: Closing days of fiesta begin. Bull run and bullfights continue.

Thursday, July 13, 2017: Bull run and bullfights continue.

Friday, July 14, 2017: Final day of the festival. Pobre de Mi Closing Ceremony occurs at Midnight in Plaza Consistorial (be on a balcony by 10:30pm if you want to see it from above).

Saturday, July 15, 2017: Departure day for people who watch the Closing Ceremony.
